Зачин који се састоји од сувог лишћа добијеног од зимзеленог дрвета Laurus nobilis, такође познато и као слатки лорбер или ловорово дрво. Има слаткасти, зељасти укус и користи се као зачинско биље. Када се исецка, отпушта арому и користи се за припремање меса, супа, и паприкаша.
