ledenjak
Ledenjak je veliko postojano tijelo načinjeno od leda. Ledenjaci nastaju na kopnu i polako putuju uslijed naprezanja kojeg uzrokuje njihova težina.
Ledenjaci nastaju na mjestima gdje se nakuplja više snijega nego što se uspije otopiti. Ledenjak nastaje postupno tijekom duljeg vremenskog razdoblja, često nekoliko desetljeća ili stoljeća, zbijanjem nakupljenog snijega i njegovim pretvaranjem u led. Ledenjaci se razlikuju od leda koji se stvara na površini mora ili jezera.
